In 2008, Beeman was
recognized by AQHA as a Legacy breeder. That same year 24-7
(twenty four seven) Quarter Horses joined forces with The
Open Box K. Located in Nebraska’s Sand Hills, The Open Box K
is a working cattle ranch, noted for it’s roping stock and
beef cattle. Ken and Audrey Kramer have been breeding
Quarter Horses for 17 years. Longtime friends of Beeman’s,
they have a strong influence of Tiger Leo, Sea Bar, and John
Red in their broodmare band. With the addition of Beeman’s
broodmares by Nostagical and Tiger of the Sea, the broodmare
band carries a high percentage of Tiger Leo. It is here, in
cowboy country, that the legacy continues.
